| GHLL SEEKING FIELD MAINTENANCE CONTRACTOR | GHLL is currently accepting bids from qualified contractors for field maintenance services as follows. If you or anyone you know is in the business of providing this type of service, please submit a bid.
Grass Cutting and edging on 3 baseball fields biweekly from 02/01/11 to 03/15/11, weekly from 3/16/11 to 6/15/11 and biweekly 9/1/11 to 11/15/11. Please also state your ability to maintain additional areas such as parking lots, entry ways, around water tower and areas outside the fields on as needed basis and the cost associated with those services. Contractor will be required to provide proof of liability insurance with GHLL named as additional insured prior to beginning work.
Bids must be submitted to a jdswendell@yahoo.com and received by 9/4/10.

DAY SEPT 11 | Our Fall Clean-Up / Fix-Up day is scheduled for Saturday September 11th from 8 to 1. We are in need of lots of help since all GHLL activites are run by volunteers. Come out and help a little if you can. If you know of anyone who needs community service hours please have them come out to help too. Please bring hedge clippers, weed-eaters, gloves, shovels and energy. Thank you in advance for your participation.
| WOUNDED HEROES BASEBALL CLASSIC
SEPT 4th AT WOLFE STADIUM | Hope4Heroes is proud to announce the first ever Wounded Heroes Baseball Classic on September 4, 2010!
The Wounded Heroes Baseball Classic was created to give our wounded heroes from all generations an opportunity to play America's favorite past time with legends of Major League Baseball in cities across the country. The Classic puts military heroes against MLB legends in an All-Star game format. The game is an opportunity for the local community to show their support and watch the heroes and legends play their favorite sport in a fun family atmosphere.
They also have a few slots open for the pre-game kids camp with the MLB ball players. Cost is $25 per player and includes game ticket, and 45 minutes on field instruction with pro's and autographed ball after session! VERY Limted and will be a position camp.... OF/IN/P/Skills-batting.
Fireworks after the game and all the players will have a free autograph session that night as well!

No experience needed, just a willingness to help guide our league. Service on the Board involves attending monthly meetings to set policy and make decisions for the league and serving as field duty supervisor a few times during the season.
