There are rule revisions regarding baseball pitching for Fall 2011. One of these sets a limit on how many pitches a pitcher can throw and then move to catcher in a game. The rest period has also been revised. Click here to view This will require all managers to track their pitchers' pitch days and pitch counts on a "pitching affidavit" for baseball or "pitcher log" for softball and pitch totals must be entered into the GHLL online pitch tracking system [applies to Minor BB, Major BB, Junior BB and Senior BB]. This affidavit or log must be signed by the scorekeper, umpire, and opposing manager after each game.

If a manager does not have this affidavit or log completed and available at the start of each game to prove pitcher availbility, the game may be immediately protested by the opposing manager before it begins. The game will be played but under protest. The GHLL Board of Directors will determine the outcome of the protest under the usual procedures for handling protests.
Fall 2011 GHLL Pool Play Rules
Not yet adopted.
Pool Play is available in all baseball and softball divisions except T-Ball.   Pool Play allows players to sign up for extra games by joining the "player pool" for their division.

Managers must contact their divison Player Agent as early as possible to arrange for pool players if needed to avoid a forfeit due to lack of available players.

All managers must be familiar with the rules for pool play. Violation of these rules can result in manager suspension.
